The Jets may have had an uninspiring final stretch in the regular season, but four straight wins against the favoured Edmonton Oilers saw them score 14 goals and concede just eight. RW Blake Wheeler has been a big part of the Jets’ postseason success, with five points in four games (two goals, two assists).

Montreal struggled with offence at times in their series against Toronto, but the stellar play of goaltender Carey Price managed to get them in a position to win. Balanced play by RW Joel Armia, who scored two goals made two assists and maintained a +3 rating through his seven games, proved valuable during the series, as did play by RW Tyler Toffoli.
