The Chiefs’ loss to the Tennessee Titans last Sunday was ugly for the former Super Bowl favourites. The Titans scored 27 points in the first half and then went scoreless in the second. All the Chiefs could manage was a field goal in the third quarter. Turnovers were a problem once again, with KC tallying another three turnovers for a league-high total of 17 through seven games. The sirens are blaring in Kansas City, and pressure is on coach Andy Reid to get a victory against the New York Giants on Monday.

The Giants are in the bottom 10 for both offense and defense, but they broke through last Sunday when they beat Carolina Panthers 25-3, while missing most of their top skill players. Down 3-0 going into the second quarter, the Giants stepped up in the final three quarters, with QB Daniel Jones throwing for a touchdown, and special teams kicker Graham Gano doing his part with three field goals on three attempts.
