Minshew suffered a thumb injury in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Chargers, and during his absence, rookie QB Jake Luton and backup Mike Glennon filled in for the starter and extended the Jaguars’ lengthy losing streak. With Minshew back under centre, there’s renewed hope that the Jaguars can snap their skid and close out the season with a few wins.

Baltimore significantly improved their playoff chances with their victory against the Browns in Week 14, but will need to take care of business against the lowly Jaguars to stay in the wild card hunt. QB Lamar Jackson had a big night on the ground, rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns. He left the field in the fourth quarter and returned just in time to engineer a come-back victory that was capped off with a 55-yard field goal by Justin Tucker.
