Utah have led the league for most of the 2020-21 campaign, but after cooling off somewhat at 6-5 SU and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games, they now find themselves in a dogfight with the Phoenix Suns. Other teams in both the Western and Eastern Conferences are also within range of the No. 1 overall spot with fewer than 10 games remaining in the regular season. Donovan Mitchell (sprained ankle) is likely to miss at least one more week of action, and Mike Conley (tight hamstring) is listed as day-to-day.

At press time, the Spurs are 10th in the West, 2.5 games ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans for the final spot under this year’s play-in format. They’re 4-4 over their past eight, and they’ve dropped three straight games since Derrick White sprained his right ankle. He’s expected to miss the rest of the regular season.
